a peaceful retreat filled with nature's beauty and hammocks everywhere for your relaxation
The Promised Land Lodge in Kizimkazi truly stole my heart! The beautiful hammocks scattered around created such a serene ambiance, perfect for unwinding. I loved how the local culture intertwined with the rich tropical setting, giving me an authentic feel of the area. The refreshing saltwater pool was just the cherry on top, allowing us to cool off whenever we wanted, even in the warmest moments of the day. Shebi, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made every effort to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

unique outdoor bathrooms, chill-out areas with hammocks, vibrant sunset views
Cleanliness needs major improvement, especially with pests!!! Dinner ordering is an absolute hassle, and missing your window means going hungry. Wifi cuts out daily and the current is too strong for safe kayaking!!!

Family travelers paradise
The staff was friendly, always ready to help out with anything we needed and managing to keep the atmosphere super chill. We played volleyball and badminton all day with our teenagers, and the canoes and paddle boards were a huge hit with everyone.
The food was decent but it wasn’t inexpensive for the quality.

Promised Land Lodge offers a fantastic experience with its numerous chill-out areas featuring brilliant sea views and great decorations. The vibe is incredibly relaxing with a nice pool, kayaks, and slackline. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, especially the fresh fruit and pancakes. The staff, especially the restaurant and cleaning crew, are extremely friendly and attentive.
Swimming was challenging due to strong currents during certain tides.

The location is stunning with breathtaking ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. However, it can be quite remote, and there's no air conditioning, which might not suit everyone. The food was decent but felt repetitive after a while. Overall, a lovely experience balanced by a few minor inconveniences.

I stayed for 1 night in the Double Room with Oceanfront View and it was really nice! The room had a beautiful view and a comfy bed. I loved how well the area was set up with sun beds and hammocks everywhere. It was cozy, and I felt super relaxed there. The outdoor shower was refreshing, but the water was a bit salty. Overall, a great experience for just one night.
